Maison Paulette is a two-storey house pictured on the left hand side of the above image. The maison is attached to the home of its English owners who are resident all year. It has two double bedrooms and facilities to provide comfortable self-catering accommodation for four or five people. Wi-fi use is included.
We are close to Péronne and the Circuit de Souvenir, the 1916 Somme Battlefield route. Maison Paulette is also well-placed to reach the important sites of the 1917 and 1918 military actions, and the l’Historial de la Grande Guerre, the famous Great War museum.
Entrance hall, high ceiling and tiled floor with a door to sitting room on your left, door to kitchen straight ahead and stairs to first floor on the right. Please note – the stairs are original and therefore steeper than most English designs.
Sitting room is bright and airy and overlooks the front garden to the south and side garden to the west. An archway takes you through to to the dining room. There is a door to the kitchen. Sitting room furnished with settee, two easy chairs, oak drawers, cupboards and a new wood-burning stove. Freesat English-language TV.
